Birth and Parent Companion Program

Individual support promotes positive parenting and increased opportunities for development in a child’s early years.

Canadian Mothercraft invites you to join our Birth and Parent Companion Program in offering volunteer support to young and or single parents, including those new to Canada, who are pregnant or parenting preschool children.

Our training sessions will complement your knowledge, skills and experience as you offer supportive, one on one friendship and guidance to our program participants.

We welcome volunteers from our multi cultural community.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Canadian Mothercraft of Ottawa-Carleton is seeking interested and enthusiastic program and community representatives to join our Board of Directors.

Board directors are elected for two-year terms and are responsible for:

• supporting the organization’s goals and objectives as expressed in our mission statement
• supporting and developing long-term plans, policies, directives, and initiatives that facilitate the delivery of quality care and other services
