Ontario Early Years Centre
Because of our commitment to quality programs and services, Mothercraft Ottawa was selected as an Ontario Early Years Centre. Our Early Years Centre is a place where parents and caregivers can: take part with their children in a range of programs and activities, get answers to questions, get information about programs and services available for young children, talk to early years professionals, and to other parents and caregivers in the community.
What We Offer
Our services include drop-in playgroups, a toy lending library, early learning and literacy programs for parents and their children, breastfeeding support drop-in and information and training for new parents about pregnancy and parenting. A variety of play groups are available including drop-in, francophone, playgroup in the park and specialized.We run parent and caregiver support workshops throughout the year on topics such as infant massage, baby sign language, child development, and behavior management.
